Matt and Ali came to England and we were lucky to spend a few days with them. This post is going to be really long. But hopefully you'll enjoy it and maybe you'll be next to take the voyage across the pond.
First day here we took them to a famous spa in Bath. It was so great. They had a heated pool over looking the entire city and several other pools on various floors. But the best part was the steam rooms. Wow, maybe it was the lighting of each room to compliment it's scent which varied from mint and eucalyptis to Francinsence, or maybe it was the giant water fall shower in the middle of the room. Needless to say it was incredible and we highly recommend it.
The second day was our day to show off Bath and its history. First we went and toured in the Bath Abbey.
This cathedral is very special in the fact that Edgar was crowned as the first king of all of England in 973 AD.
Next we went over and took a tour of the Roman Baths. It was so incredible, really quite amazing. Here is a little history on it. Back 2,000 years ago these were created and they are fully functioning as well now as they did then.
The temple was constructed in 60-70 AD and the bathing complex was gradually built up over the next 300 years
Jack feeling the water, it is very warm and has a well constructed system (by the romans) that allows excess water to flow to the river Avon.
After that we walked over to the Royal Cresant. Then we went to Bombay Nights for some really good Indian food.
Matt and Ali are two of the most beautiful people, and such a riot!
Off to London, we got to see the changing of the guards at the Queens palace which they do every day at 11:00 and it lasts for an hour. Crazy.
We are typical tourists. 'stop and pose, stop and pose'
Love is in the air
Next we went to the National Museum of Art. Amazing, and they let you in for free! It was so incredible, we were standing in front of gorgeous paintings by: Monet, Da vinci, Van Gogh, and many many more. It was so great we could of spent the whole day there.
Here we are in front of the house of Parliament, or known as Big Ben, Huge! Crazy we had no idea it was so big. We went inside and got to witness a small debate in the House of Lords. Inside is mind blowing, amazing a must see in London.
Lastly we went to Harrods and looked around it was so big and full of stores like, Gucci, Tiffany’s & co., Cartier, ect. It was a really great day and we loved every minute of it. Then we said goodbye in the London Tube(subway). We loved our time with them and were so happy to see family.

I'm jealous. Steve and I are coming in October!!! We'll have to talk and get some suggestions....hopefully you'll suggest bathing in the Roman baths (ha ha, they are functioning, but do people really do that? ....Obviously I don't know what I'm talking about) Btw - you look so great, Sarah! Your hair is getting super long, and you are so tiny. I'm glad you had so much fun with fam!
