A few weeks ago Everett and I got to go to the zoo with our neighbor and her kids. Everett loved the animals. But there was a tender part of me wanting to open every cage and let them go.... poor things. I really don't understand why we have polar animals here in the desert, huge Elephants (pretty sure they don't belong here), and wild Monkeys..... I definitely have my reservations about the place. Will I go again? Probably, Everett loved the animals and it was a great learning tool, lets just say I 'm torn.
