This desk was being used for our office desk. But because of its size we could only use the laptop. So we got a new desk("new" I mean thrift store, that I painted black) for our other computer (which was serving as a very expensive stereo in the kitchen). So I claimed the old desk as mine.

Cute! I love refinishing old stuff. I don't actually like the refinishing part...I just like the result. All of Co's bedroom furniture was passed on from our parents and my sister and I refinished them. Love the color!

Sarah it looks perfect! I wish I grew up in your home with your extremly talented mother. I am so afraid to try anything. Chad's family just does it and doesn't think about it. So I am learning to do a lot of stuff myself but I wish I was more confident.
Looks so cute. I love making something old look new again. I painted two of my old dressers that were used in my room as a baby. Burk used them and now baby Meggie will. It's so nice to pass things along like that, that have memories.
