It's no secret that Everett loves movies. He will play hard and then crash and watch a movie, its nice because I can have some quiet time with Harry and Jane, since Everett takes a lot of my attention. Well, I can remember movie lines and they become apart of my normal day to day speech. Jack is always trying to get me to recite my movie lines/impersonations to others. Anyway, I thought I would try it on Everett to see how well he remembers.
Everett was at my parents house for a few days and while there he watched Toy Story for the first time. When he came home he was so excited about it and kept telling me about Buzz and Woody and the funny Pig. So I ask him "Remember that part when Woody says, "You are a childs PLAY THING!!"?" and without missing a beat Everett says "You are a sad, sad, strange little man" Hilairious!! cannot even stand it! So, I thought I would test him a few weeks later on a different movie this time is was 'A Bugs Life' (This scene is between Flick and Dot when Flick is telling her that it is okay to be small.) So I say to Everett "You see this rock? Well, pretend its a seed. I know its nothing now but one day it will grow into a nice big tree" and again without hesitation Everett says "But it's a rock" and then continues with " I know its a rock!!! I see them all the time!!!" He is our little actor. Can I just say that when I was little I entertained my family with my movie lines. My mom always said that if it weren't for movies my family would have nothing to say to each other. Hehe. So Everett, it looks like I have gifted you this.....awesome.

that is funny! At the same time I would worry about what else he remembers hearing- yikes. I am looking forward to seeing you guys soon! I think I must have accidentally deleted the message you sent me with your phone number- and I'm not sure the one I have saved in my phone is updated- so you'll have to send it to me again.
That's awesome!
He does sound like he has a gift!
