Living and Loving

Uh, I have been rubbish! I would love to say that I haven't posted because I don't have the time, (I'm know I could find the time I just haven't been in the mood.) So, I am breaking my habit of procrastination and I hope I can post more about this cute little family of mine, and this crazy life we live.

Truthfully, the past few years have been tough to say the least. Our family has braved some mighty winds. I am proud to say that for the first time in three years we see some light on the horizon. Jack just got a good job and it has strengthened our testimony of prayer. I am mostly grateful for the prayers that were unanswered. Heavenly Father knows what he is doing and I never in my life ever questioned that until we were moving out of our home and in with my parents. I kept thinking -really? Is this happening again? I am so grateful for family assistance but how much is it going to take for us to get on our feet? Why on earth did we have to lose our house in Kaysville? Why were we living on minimum wage for a year with three children??? Yikes. I am amazed at the blessings we have received through all the trials. I know, its so hard to count your blessings at the time and believe me I murmured at times. Its hard when you look at those close to you and they are doing fine and you want so badly to be in their shoes if only for a moment to get some relief of your current state. The Prophets talk really stood out to me with being grateful and counting blessings everyday and writing them down. It may not make it easier at the time but it sure is amazing to see looking back. There is my little speech, sometimes it stinks being a grown up but through it all we have grown and are better prepared for what the future brings.

We had some photos taken by Megan Heaps. Here is a taste of our fun day, more to come.

I love these little kids, and I love my man. I will be posting these photos often because I love them so much.

Those pictures are gorgeous. Love them all! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on trials and prayer and faith. I can't even count the number of times I've said (out loud and to myself) "it's not supposed to be like this." and I look at others with envy wondering why things seem fine with them (chances are I don't have a clue). Hang in there. You are a strong woman with a strong supportive family. Thanks for your example!
