Sunshine

Today the sun is out, the birds are singing, and I couldn't feel happier. Yesterday I felt opposite of this. Its amazing how some sunshine warms you right up inside and out. I have all the curtains open in the entire house beckoning the sun to come in and warm our little family. The sun needs no invitation she will always come in if she can. I am reminded on days like this of how much I have been given and how much I am sure I have taken for granted. The boys and me took a walk and listened for all of the wonderful bird sounds, they too are happy just as we are. Harry can't stop laughing today which makes me think either he is feeling the happiness of the sun or he has a seriously funny 'inside joke'. Everett is asking me so many questions, he is so thirsty for knowledge. Me? Well I am grateful. I am grateful for Jack and my beautiful boys. I am grateful for Jack's strength and the spirit he brings into our home. We started this morning eating breakfast as a family and then a scripture. Maybe thats why my day has been so good, I started it with my best friend, my family...my eternal family.
