5 yrs. Hard. But worth it.

It was five years ago yesterday that Jack and I were married. gosh. Yesterday Jack was in Nashville and so we had to put off our celebration to today. I left the boys with grandma and grandpa Passey and headed to the airport to pick up my sweetheart. After a 2 hr. long conference call (always busy) we were able to head up to Park City for some shopping. I got my first pair of good jeans, I really can't believe what I have been missing wearing crummy ones. I asked Jack "how many years does it feel we should be celebrating?" Jack's response "8" I totally agree. In five years we have: Moved 7 times, bought a house, short sold a house, had three kids(in 2yrs. and 9 months), lived in England, worked like mad. I know I keeping stuff out but you get the idea. Its amazing what you can accomplish in just 5 yrs. We are solid (we should be), and I am so proud of that.

We are staying away from the kids tonight (except Jane). This is my first time staying in a nice Hotel. I am loving that my bed was turned down and the chocolates on my pillow. THiS is much NEeDed.
I used my portion of our hotel credit to buy Jane her first tea set, I am so excited to play with it with her some day. I bought the boys a wooden puzzle. I love being a mother to these rascals, as crazy as they make me.

As I sit here typing Jack and Janes methodic deep sleep breathing is music to my ears. (poke fun at me "Seriously so Blessed" blog) I love my family. I am grateful for the first time in a long time for my trials, I would not be able to feel this much joy without them.

tomorrow its off to hunt for a place to live. Wish us luck.

Congratulations on five years. I remember your wedding well, you seemed like the perfect couple. And I loved the message from your temple sealer. It is so nice to focus on why we are here and helps get through hard things! Good luck with the house hunting.
