Well the holidays are over. I am sad. But also excited to share more holiday traditions with my kids. Christmas this year was by far the best we have had in awhile. On Christmas Everett was so excited to open presents, Harry was so excited to take away the presents Everett just opened and Jane she slept.
We spent Christmas Eve with Jack's parents. We had a fun nativity with all the cousins and talent night, consisting of Dave's crazy dance, Luke and Mason singing jingle bells, and my Everett singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Riendeer. Which he sings "Rudolph the Other Reindeer Nose" awesome. We spent Christmas Day with my family and enjoyed the freezing temperatures of Logan :). Funny story: My dad made the boys a play room up on their spare bedroom complete with a tent and a big Train Track. We laid the boys down for the night and as always listened to them play around for awhile. After about an hour and still no sleeping I decided to check on them. What I found was Harry covered in Cat litter and pooh, chucking handfuls of kitty litter on Everett and Everett throwing cat food.... My dad forgot to take the kitty's litter box out of the closet and you can be sure Harry will find and destroy anything. I asked Everett, "Why did you throw Cat food?" (he knows better) This is what he said
"Mom, Harry was throwing sand at me and Pooh" Poor kid had to defend himself right? nice.
So here I am. Pooped. My socks are wet from the wet carpet in our basemet. We have a broken water heater and are now without hot water until the plumber comes and replaces it. sweet. I am missing my bath right now.
The new year is fast approaching. yikes. I have many plans for 2011 one of them being to be more Christ like. I know that sounds cheesey, but I think its something we forget to do.
