Crazy

Friday was craziness. I think I would have loved it even more if I was able to squeeze in a run. Darn. I hate missing my runs. Our search for a kitchen table ended in no kitchen table. bummer,( I am super picky about this one) But, despite the failed attempt at finding a table, there were three favorite things about my day.

First favorite thing: On our rush back to get home before we were to leave for favorite thing # TwO Jack tells me he has a surprise for me, and it happens to be near our home. He pulls into a place calle "Pirate O's" it's a gourmet market. This could be bad, no this is very bad, it is filled with all of our favorite british treats, cheeses, and food. LOVE IT! Eight dollars worth of chocolate later we were out the door and racing home to get ready for....

Second favorite: We have some awesome friends who we switch off babysitting to go to the temple. Friday night was our night to go and we were so excited. Mostly for the fact that I have no been in a long time and the last time we were supposed to go we had to do grocery shopping instead. First let me just say, it is usually both parents. So, when Bekah showed up on her own with not only her daughter but also her sisters little girl too, I was shocked. If it were me I would have canceled, not Bekah, she is super woman. So, we left her with our three crazy children making it 5 children three and under. Again, she is amazing. The temple was just what the doctor ordered. We went to the Draper Temple which was exactly 8 min. from us. It was perfect.

Third favorite: We got home to find our house was clean (alright that is just crazy right? She's amazing) and the kids in bed. We then vacuumed and clean to prepare for some friends to come with thier twin girls to spend the night (Sharli and I have been friends since Kindergarten and it helps that our husbands talk on the phone more than we do). They came by at about 11:00 pm. We all hit the sack at 2am. Oh, sure did forget to mention that it was also Sharli's due date. yeah. She lives in Logan and was spending the night at my home on her due date. Crazy! She is amazing and the most calm and paitent person I know. Love her. In the morning we stuffed our faces full of whole wheat waffles and my carmel syrup (which I am still trying to perfect) and then they were off. It was a great two days completely full. Oh, and while we were vacuuming earlier that night our vacuum blew out. awesome. Bought a new vacuum last night and its dusgusting what it picked up off my presumably clean carpets. sick.

Now its sunday, I have two little babies sleeping while Jack went to church with Everett. It's better to let them sleep a little today, not a regular thing we do.

Awesome Moment of the week brought to you buy EVERETT: Everett "Mom, I know...I know" Me, "You know what sweetie?"
Everett, "I know, I listen to my heart and I just know"
Me choked up and can hardly speak "I'm so glad you know"
Everett, "Yeah, when you are mad you have a broken heart, and we should only have love in our hearts"
Me, I am shocked and presume he learned this from church so I say "did you learn that from church?
Everett, "No, from Princess and the Frog"
Even though it wasn't from church, nice going Princess and the Frog! Love that kid, as crazy as he makes me, I do love him to pieces.

Oh Sarah- you are the super woman. You do what I did every day of your life. You amaze me. Why haven't we planned our girls night yet though? We need the boys to stay home and babysit and we can go out and party. :) Lets plan one soon.

You and your cute crazy friends (a clean house with 5 toddlers, and a due date sleeping over an 1 1/2 away from home) are awesome. Glad it was a good day!
P.S. can't wait for warmer days
